Community-based early help is delivered as part of universal services for children of all ages; it aims to improve a family’s resilience and outcomes or reduce the chance of a problem getting worse. Targeted early help is delivered through Family Help teams; it is coordinated by the local authority and there will be a plan in place and a lead practitioner appointed.
